Introducing
Angela Rossi
Hi everyone, I am thrilled to be a part of the On the Spot myofunctional therapy team!
Working in the dental field, I have specialized in working with airway orthodontists and pediatric dentists who treat tongue and lip ties. In doing this work, I have collaborated alongside myofunctional therapists for many years. I am honored to have been trained by Sandra Coulson and certified in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) through The Coulson Institute of Orofacial Myology.
I am dedicated to helping people find the root cause of their chronic symptoms and guide them through their self healing! Assessing oral dysfunction, customizing exercises, teaching proper tongue posture and proper nasal breathing can alleviate many common symptoms such as; fatigue, snoring, nail biting, headaches and more. Empowering patients to heal themselves through unmedicated, holistic treatments is where I thrive.Â
In addition to my experience in the dental field, I am also a certified MA/BA and have worked in women’s health, birth and postpartum care. I am a lactation counselor and can asses oral dysfunction in infants, children and now adults! My full spectrum dental and medical experience sets me apart from most practitioners. My well of knowledge is deep and I strive to validate, accept and educate patients of all ages and gender identities.
I know that starting OMT can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to make every session fun and engaging. I hope everyone can look forward to their visits with me! Not only have I benefited greatly from OMT myself, but all three of my children have as well. Combining my personal experience and professional background + education helps to make everyone as comfortable as possible with the process.Â
On my days out of the office, I love to spend time outside. My favorite activity is rock climbing, but as a Colorado native, I will settle for any outdoor play! I absolutely love trying new foods and traveling with my husband. If I’m not exploring outside, you can usually find me curled up with a cup of tea and fantasy novel - though my three sons keep me on my toes most of the time!
